Catherine's News
Dear Parents,
A very warm welcome to Term 4. I hope everyone has had a safe and relaxing holiday.
On Thursday at 10am families are welcome to join us for our beginning of Term Mass.
Next Monday the teachers will be sending out class Newsletters with all the information you will need, outlining the curriculum and events for Term 4. We are looking forward to an exciting Term and some warmer weather as we work together to finish the year with many highlights and successes.
Don't forget hats are to be worn during playtime in Term 4.
Mission Market
At the end of Term 3 we held the Mission Market where every class was given $25 to invest in creating a stall to sell items as a fundraiser for Caritas Australia. The money raised will go towards the HUMANITARIAN CRISIS IN to provide food, water, shelter, medical care and protection for the most vulnerable. The students raised over $1000. Thank you to all families for your support.
Footy Colours Day
What a great day to end Term 3!
St Paul’S Fete
Many thanks to Kaitlan, Toni, Donna and all the stall coordinators for the enormous effort that has gone into ensuring the success of this special school event. With the Fete only a few weeks away, we still need more families to sign up to spend a few hours working on a stall. More information below.
World Teachers Day
On Wednesday of this week, we will be celebrating World Teacher Day with a special morning tea. On this important day, I would like to acknowledge and thank teachers and staff for all the work they do in educating, nurturing, protecting, supporting and growing each child and young person in our school. At St Paul’s we are very blessed with a dedicated and energetic staff who work hard every day to improve the learning outcomes for all students.
This week, families are invited to send an email or write a card to a teacher. You may like to write more than one card to include the important work that is done by our specialist staff each day.
Have a great week.
