Dear parents and caretakers,

This term the Year 6 Social Justice Team has chosen to support a Victorian charity, “300 Blankets”. They provide blankets and other necessities for people at risk of, or who are already homeless. As the weather is getting colder and winter has arrived, we believe this is the perfect time to donate to 300 Blankets. This charity also helps run the ‘Homelessness Outreach Program’, ‘Soul Kitchen’ and ‘Iceolation’.  

Items that we are asking families to donate that will be extremely helpful include:

• Socks, men or women (thick socks or explorer socks with darker colours preferred)
• Men’s underwear (trunks)
• Women’s underwear (briefs)

Toiletries including:

• Aerosol deodorant
• Dental hygiene products (toothpaste and toothbrushes)
• Men’s razors
• Hotel size shampoos, body wash and conditioner

We would like to receive your donations by Friday the 17th of June. There will be a basket inside each year level for donations.
