To all our St Paul's Dads
For those who don’t know me My names Sam Robertson and I’m the coach of the St Pauls Dads footy team
The Dads club put the team together 10 plus years ago to give our Dads an opportunity to have some fun and to get to know some of the Dads you wouldn’t normally meet. Of course to enjoy a bit of fitness along the way as well.
Now don’t worry there won’t be any Indian file or Suicide runs, its more about having a kick and a bit of a laugh. We have two games, a practise match against Port Melbourne PS Friday night August 2nd and the Big game is against old foes St Peters East Bentleigh PS (The Toffee Apples) on Saturday 31st August. This is a really fun day played in good spirits raising money for both schools. Again don’t worry if you just want to train and have some fun and don’t want to play that’s ok. Should I bring up our Ballarat Footy trip at the end of the year ? Maybe too much info at this stage, but that’s a great weekend as well!
So if you want to get out of the house have a kick with the dads for an hour or so and enjoy maybe one or two beverages after, get yourself down to McKinnon Reserve Cnr Tucker and McKinnon Rds McKinnon at 4pm This Sunday. We will be training every Sunday then on.
