Dear Parents, 

As a part of the Social Justice group, we have chosen the St. Kilda Mums charity to donate to this term. We have been busy researching what St. Kilda Mums will accept. The grade 6’s have been knitting squares to form a blanket to donate to the St. Kilda mums as well.

St. Kilda Mums will accept the following: 

• Activity mats
• Baby food (within 3 months expiry)      
• Baby towels                                                         
• Baby baths                                                           
• Kids books
• Bottles and feeding equipment 
• Breastfeeding pillows
• Soft carry cots
• Bunny rugs and baby wraps
• Change mats
• Change tables that fold
• Clothing - from birth size to size 16
• Cot linen and blankets
• Games for kids
• Nappies- cloth and disposable
• Baby wipes
• Pyjamas 
• Puzzles
• Nappy change bags (clean)
• Maternity pads
• Stationery (pencils, textas, activity books, scrap books)
• Toiletries (unopened) - body wash, barrier cream, tooth paste, deodorant etc

Each year level will receive a basket where donations can be placed. All the items have to be donated by Friday 13th of August, and we will be having a casual clothes day on that Friday to thank the school community for their support and contributions to the St. Kilda Mums.
