Deputy Principal

This year I have moved out of the classroom into the role of Deputy Principal and Leader of Teaching and Learning. What do my peers say about me? That I love data, graphs, spreadsheets and organisational structures that support teachers being able to explore and consider deep questions and big ideas in learning. I am also famous for my loud voice and love of learning.  My work  focuses on working with teachers in the area of Inquiry Learning and I am a member of the Student Intervention Team. Currently I am completing my Masters at Melbourne University in Educational Leadership. A passionate Geelong supporter!

Michael Juliff
Co-ordinating Principal

During the past 6 years I have been working across the Federated Schools of St Catherine’s, St Peter’s and St Paul’s supporting Principals. My work includes policies, finance, governance and leading the Arrowsmith Program, allowing Principals to focus on the important work of driving school improvement. I sit on the Advisory Boards of the three schools, the Leadership Teams as well as supporting Principal wellbeing. This year I will be involved in working with Catherine Tammesild,  Architect Sam Harding and builders on the refurbishment of the Junior school at St Paul’s.  I look forward to a great year ahead working with the Federated Schools.

Student Diversity &
RE Leader
This is my second year at St Paul’s. My leadership roles are Learning Diversity Leader and Religious Education Leader. I have been Learning Diversity for many years and am very passionate about  ensuring that all students have what they need to be successful. I co-ordinate the NCCD Program, Program Support Group Meetings and the development and implementation of Personalised Learning Plans. This year we will be implementing the Intervention Framework, this involves providing Professional Development to all staff and supporting staff with their job of ensuring all children are the best they can be. I am the leader of the Student Intervention Team.

My role as Religious Education Leader  is to ensure and maintain the Catholic Identity of St Paul’s. I support teaching staff to plan and implement the RE Curriculum and co-ordinate the Sacramental Program. My other passion is being in the classroom with my beautiful Prep students three days a week. Despite the business of school life the Preps always fill my heart with joy and remind me of what is important.

Danni Molino
Literacy Leader
I'm so proud to be a staff member here at St Paul’s where I once came to school many, many years ago! I hold lots of memories of great school days experienced here and later at OLSH College with many of my closest friends in my life to this day.

My role as Literacy Leader continues this year with more exciting opportunities to support students and staff in their learning. I work 4 days a week and provide intervention to students in Year 1 through a  program called ‘Reading Discovery’. I am passionate about the work I do which includes leading the Levelled Literacy Intervention Program( LLI) and supporting Literacy Extension in Yr 5 and 6. My focus this year will be to continue to plan and model Literacy sessions with teachers. It is a busy life but I love the work I do! I really love finding time to read a good book between agonizingly following The Saints during the footy season.

*** Please stay tuned to an invitation to a Literacy Workshop evening for parents who have children in Prep, Year 1 and Year 2.

I have taught at St Paul’s since 2007 and have enjoyed being part of this wonderful community working alongside wonderful staff, students and parents. In this time I have also had two children of my own, Elle and Georgia, who are now in Year 2 and Prep here at St Paul’s. My role this year is teaching Year 4 part time as well as being our Wellbeing Leader. This year we will be looking at reviewing the Behaviour Management Policy and I look forward to getting input from parents in the coming weeks. I have also had the pleasure in working with our wonderful SRC representatives from Years 1-6 in helping ensure students continue to have a voice in all aspects of school life.

Katie Lachal Senior School Team Leader
I am excited to be back in 2021 after returning from maternity leave. My role this year is part time teaching in Yr 3, Literacy Extension in Yr 5 and 6 and Team leader for the Senior school.  In term 1 I will be working with Amanda Moore to develop a new Homework Policy. This process will involve reaching out to parents through online surveys, interviewing students and looking at what the research tells us about homework practices. I look forward to collaborating with the school community in an ongoing process that supports the learning narrative of students at St Paul’s.
