Year 6 Wellbeing Team News

Today the Wellbeing team went to the kindergarten, we had two or three buddies and played with them for an hour. We played tag, hide and seek, painting and lots of other things. The kindergarten students had so much fun playing with the Year 6’s. We had lots of fun and enjoyed getting to know them.

Hello Everybody,

This is Finlay and Lucca from the Wellbeing team and we are here to tell you about our trip to the Kindergarten near our school today!

Firstly we met the kindergarten kids and introduced ourselves and got to know them, and we learnt a lot about them as they showed us around their kindergarten. We each got two or three buddies to hang out with and play with. We played many activities including trampoline, basketball, soccer, footy, make believe, swing, lego, drawing and climbing on the climbing frame.

This semester we had lots of fun in the Wellbeing team. We were in charge of gathering chocolates for the Easter Raffle and we got to be Friend-o-leaders which means that we got to help students solve their friendship problems at recess and lunch time. We also got to go to the Kindergarten twice to visit the students. We got to play with our kinder buddies and they got to show us around. It has been very fun working with my peers in the Wellbeing team during this semester.

I was in the Wellbeing team and we went to the Kindergarten this term. They were so cute and loved to have us. They said they were looking forward to us coming the whole day. We were paired up with one to three of them and they showed us around their kinder. We played on the swing, with magnets, in the sandpit and so much more. There was even a trampoline! We are so lucky we were able to visit them two times this semester. As well as going to the kinder. the Wellbeing team were also Friend-o-leaders every lunch and recess. Three to four of us walked around with lanyards and younger students came up to us if they needed help with their friendships. It was all so fun and i'm so sad it's over. Next term we'll be in a new leadership team.
