Dear Parents,
St Paul’s has been a hive of activity this week as all staff have been onsite preparing
for take two of remote learning.
We have listened to the feedback we have received from parents and students and
have planned for new opportunities to enrich the learning experiences for students and
support for our families during these very challenging times.
Thank you for your optimism and messages of gratitude as we move forward to support
the health, wellbeing and educational experiences for all students.
During remote learning many devices have been loaned out to families who require
multiple devices. Please contact the Office if any families still require assistance with
accessing digital technologies.
During remote learning a combination of hard copy resources and digital resources
have been provided for all students. Thank you for picking up your bag of goodies in
drive through on Thursday and Friday this week. If you have missed your pick up
time please call the office to arrange a suitable time for collection. Students who
are attending school during remote learning will need to bring their packs to school if
they are part time and for those students attending full time or most days, will not need
to collect their packs.
Below are newsletters from classroom teachers and specialists outlining the program for the
next five weeks. Please scroll down the newsletters where necessary as most contain two pages. The learning program delivered onsite will be the same as the learning
program delivered to students undertaking remote learning.
For the next five weeks Specialist programs will again be delivered on Wednesdays.
Google meets are a new addition to remote learning, supported by direct instruction
videos, feedback and the daily planner being sent out the night before. We will continue
to provide flexibility for students as they complete their work, being mindful that many
families are working from home and sharing devices. Teachers are available to support
students throughout the day, with all emails and feedback being closed off at 4pm each
day.
