Dear Parents,
Firstly I want to take a moment to sincerely thank you for your ongoing support during this time. Your partnership, patience, and commitment to our school community are truly appreciated. It is through this collective effort that we continue to provide the best possible learning environment for our students.
Your encouragement and involvement make a real difference, and we are grateful for the trust you place in us. We look forward to continuing this journey together and working in partnership to support the growth and success of every child.
Thank you once again for your support.
I was wanting to share a few updates with you:
- Freda’s leave will be continuing and Margy D’Rozario and Marg Mitchell will continue in the Acting Principal and Deputy roles in the interim.
- There has been a team from MACS OH&S out to assess the site with regards to the issue of cars parking on the front playground when there is a large funeral in the Church. We are now awaiting a meeting with MACS personnel and the parish. I will update you further when more information comes to light.
- After emailing MACSEYE about the standard of care being offered, I then recently met with the area manager and shared with her the valid concerns of the families here at St Paul’s with regards to the before and afterschool care program. Claire took onboard what I was relaying to her. She is very keen to make improvements to strengthen this program and the relationship with the families, in particular the communication between the MACSEYE team here at St Paul's and the parents.

At St Paul’s, we value leadership opportunities that help students build relationships, work in teams, and develop essential communication skills. By creating a culture where student voice is respected, we aim to foster a school environment where all students feel connected, respected and empowered.
Our Year 6 students have worked incredibly hard on their speeches, and we are proud of each of them for their efforts. We are excited to present the following leaders and look forward to seeing them bring their ideas to life. Keep an eye on the newsletter and at assemblies for updates!

Last Thursday the Year 5 and 6 students took a bus to Oakleigh South Primary School for their first Inter school sport game of the year. Dear Parents and Families,
A huge thank you to those families who collected egg cartons, towels and jars last year to donate to the Art Room. We now have an abundance of these items and no longer need to collect any more.
In order to be more sustainable, for future lessons I am looking to collect:
- paper towel cardboard rolls
- beads or beaded necklaces that can be reused
- fabric tote bags made from calico or similar material
- old/unwanted sunglasses
- old/unwanted caps or bucket hats
These items can be delivered to the office or to the Art Room.
Many thanks
Amanda Moore
