Dear Families,
What a wonderful term it has been, topped off with this glorious weather for our Footy Parade. It was great to see the students sporting their favourite footy colours!
Thanks to everyone involved in the RU Ok day yesterday - it is such an important cause and we hope that the students all enjoyed it.
There is some important information attached here - particularly around traffic management in Term 4, along with some fete information and the Term 4 calendar.
MACSSIS Survey Reminder
Today is the final day to complete the MACSSIS survey which should only take about 10 - 15 minutes to complete.
Recently each family was sent an email with a link and their own unique PIN. This survey is an important way for the school to gather perception data about what different people in our school community think and feel about their learning environment. This feedback is of vital importance as we use the information to inform our school improvement cycle.
We are very grateful for your participation.
Enjoy the break and we look forward to seeing everyone back and refreshed in Term 4.
Kind regards,
Freda
Please be aware of some very important information regarding traffic and parking that St Paul's has just been advised of by South East Water.
1. Higgins Rd - the next stage of works will commence 25 September and finish by the end of Week 1 in Term 4, 6 October AT THE VERY LATEST. Please see more information from South East Water and the map below. Be aware of the road closure, work zones and the two sections of the road that will require a U-turn. Hopefully the work will be completed in its entirety over the school holiday break, therefore not affecting us at all (fingers crossed).
2. Riddle St - as a separate project, work will also be undertaken on the pipes in both Riddle St and London St - proposed commencement 25 September through until late October. Ideally work in Riddle St directly adjacent to the school will be completed over the school holidays (fingers crossed again!); then moving on to London St. Please observe all traffic signs and regulations and be mindful that there will be very limited parking in this area; and that there may only be one lane of traffic open at a time.
When works are close to the school, we will need parents to "Kiss & Go". A teacher will be out on duty on Riddle St to assist children safely getting out of cars or crossing the road. South East Water has asked that parents do not park and leave their vehicles on Riddle St while works are close to the school.
South East Water has also suggested that families park in surrounding streets and walk to school - which is a great opportunity to partake in our ACTIVE SCHOOLS "Go for Gold" school initiative.
We will provide continued correspondence from South East Water during this time with an update on Day 1 next term as to how works progressed over our school holiday break.
Once we return for Term 4, there will only be 4 weeks to go until our amazing school fete on Sunday 29 October, so here are a few reminders for everyone ahead of the holidays:
